We understand your concern about feeling stuck and stagnant, and we are here to stand with you in prayer. Let's first remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world's rulers of darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading the blood of Jesus over our brother/sister. We rebuke and cast out every spirit of delay, denial, and stagnation that has been hindering progress in their life. We command these spirits to leave in Jesus' name, according to Mark 16:17, which tells us that in Jesus' name we shall cast out demons.
Lord, we ask that You help them move forward and not backward, according to your Word in Philippians 3:13-14, 'forgetting the things which are behind, and reaching out for the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.'
We also pray that You will give them a testimony to share before Pastor Jerry's birthday, that Your name may be glorified. We ask this all in Jesus' mighty name. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Stay steadfast in your faith, and keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB). We are confident that God, who began a good work in you, will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
