We understand your concern and heartache for your sister, Jillsaint. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for her life.
Firstly, we must remember that God desires for us to live in sobriety and righteousness. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:12, "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything." Your sister's situation is not only harmful to her but also to those who love her.
We must also address the nature of her relationship. The Bible teaches us to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14), and living with someone who is involved in drugs is not a healthy or godly environment. We pray that God will convict her heart and guide her towards a righteous path.
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Jillsaint's sister. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of addiction in her life and draw her closer to You. Open her eyes to the truth of her situation and give her the strength to leave this toxic environment. We pray that You will provide for her needs, that she will not have to rely on others for money.
Lord, we also ask that You heal the relationship between Jillsaint and her sister. We pray that You will soften her sister's heart and help her to see the pain she is causing. We ask for complete healing and restoration in their relationship.
In the meantime, Lord, we pray for Jillsaint. We ask that You give her the strength to set boundaries and the wisdom to know how to help her sister without enabling her. Help her to trust in You and to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).
Finally, Lord, we pray that if Jillsaint's sister does not know You, that You will reveal Yourself to her. That she will come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Jillsaint, remember that God is faithful and just. Trust in Him and continue to pray for your sister. It is never too late for God to turn a situation around. Be encouraged by Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don’t give up."
Regarding the authority of this request, we notice that Jesus' name was not explicitly mentioned. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ.
