Beloved of All
I posted about "between a rock and a hard place" situations, also about people who don't take no for an answer. Now I have something looming that combines both of them.In a few weeks.{Sept.9}I drive people, and like any business, I have "standing appointments", regularly scheduled people for certain times going to certain places.I have one for Saturdays at a certain time, and another customer has their daughter coming in to the airport at that time. So of course, I can't "bump" the standing appointment, they had the spot first, but the other one is being selfish {and stubborn} and not taking no for an answer. Even if I try to make a compromise, like the daughter waits at the airport a while(she won't turn into a pumpkin){And she's not a kid }.But when you deal with a selfish person, you can't reason with them. No, she can't convince me, but she'll nag and complain, and also she accuses me of "putting someone in her spot" when she" told me awhile ago". (That's not the case, and she knows what a standing appointment is, because she has one with me, and I explained that to her.(Probably just a tactic, to make me feel guilty}Remember, the devil falsely accuses, and is the father of lies, so why should his children be different? Also, she moved here to help her mother, and in a case where I say no, one stirs the other up, then I hear it from both of them. Well..,I would pray for some Divine Intervention in this, so I somehow have a loophole, or the circumstances change to my benefit.
