I paid a bill or 2 through reading off information like bank account number and "routing number" on a check, but now I'm paranoid that if the company has my bank access, they might "help themselves" to more than I gave them permission to, and drain my account!!

Brother can you not alert the bank to prevent further withdrawals from the company in question? We have that policy over here.

Yeah that's a good idea. It hasn't happened yet, but thinking about that...
