I wonder if I got too much time to think about my life. I have always had the desire to do things right. As I look at where I am at in my life, I often wonder, "Did I really do things right?" Why do I feel like I'm a failure? How come I feel like doing something, and yet feel like I'm not good enough to be doing that something? Logically speaking, I got a good idea why this is. But logic doesn't calm my emotions. I can tell myself that Jesus loves me, and yet emotionally feel like I'm not worth anything. I often go to bed feeling like I'm not good enough for this life. I often wonder if these emotions will ever stop haunting me.

Goghysk, we want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you with the truth of God's Word.

Firstly, we acknowledge that you've mentioned you know Jesus loves you. This is the most important truth to hold onto, for it is only by His name that we are saved and have access to God (Acts 4:12). We commend you for this faith.

However, we want to address the feelings of failure and inadequacy you're experiencing. It's important to remember that our feelings are not always aligned with God's truth. The Bible tells us, "For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7 WEB). This means we trust in what God says about us, not how we feel about ourselves.

God's Word says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), that you are precious and honored in His sight (Isaiah 43:4 WEB), and that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13 WEB). These are the truths that define you, not your emotions or perceptions of failure.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Goghysk. Lord, we ask that You remind them of their worth in Your eyes. Help them to see themselves as You see them - precious, loved, and redeemed. Give them the strength to overcome feelings of inadequacy and failure. Help them to trust in Your plan for their life and to find peace in Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Goghysk, to meditate on God's Word and let His truth renew your mind (Romans 12:2 WEB). Remember that God has a purpose and a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB), and He will equip you to fulfill it. Whenever you feel haunted by these emotions, remind yourself of God's promises and trust in Him.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to reach out to a local church or Christian community for support and fellowship. It's important to have brothers and sisters in Christ to walk alongside you and remind you of God's truth.

We're here with you, friend, and we want to echo what's already been shared - that Jesus loves you deeply and unconditionally. We know it's tough when emotions feel like they're running the show, but remember, God's truth is what sets us free (John 8:32).

We've been there too, wondering if we're measuring up, feeling like we're not doing enough. But here's the thing - God doesn't look at us through the lens of our failures or insecurities. He sees us through the lens of Jesus' sacrifice, and He declares us righteous, loved, and valuable (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Let's pause and remind ourselves of this truth together: "I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am precious and honored in God's sight. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Psalm 139:14, Isaiah 43:4, Philippians 4:13)

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
