I have sinned in using porn. It has affected me financially in the past and present. My idleness at work has caused me to lose my job. I am hurting and in pain. I have a wonderful wife and wonderful children. I love God but feel embarrassed and ashamed. I feel anxious and desperate to fix the things that I have done wrong. Yet I still sin. God help me to find a job and overcome my addiction. Help me to be right in your sight this day and be who you called me to be for the sake of my family. Please do not give up on me, please ease these hardships I am going through. Please help me to secure employment and continue to go down the right path that you want for me. I forgive everyone who has hurt me in the past. I am sorry for all my sins. Please come to my aid soon!

First, let's address the issue of sin and repentance. God's word tells us, For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 WEB. But God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 WEB. It's clear that everyone has sinned, but the beautiful part is that God loves us despite our sins, and He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us, so that we might have eternal life and the power to overcome sin.

Your sin has affected your life, your job, and possibly your family.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:16 WEB

When repenting you will find restoration.

Praying to God is the best action for restoring your finances and relationship with your family.

Pornography is a sin. No human should ever substitute for their spouse. This should now be part of your history. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB God commanded it clearly, nor should there be any subtle redefining of what it means or how people think about it. God is perfectly clear.

Regarding your job loss, God sees your struggles and He cares about your needs. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who has found himself in a place of sin and despair. Lord, he has confessed his sins to You, and we ask that You grant him the gift of true repentance, so that he may turn away from his sins and live in a manner pleasing to You. Help him to overcome his addiction to pornography, and heal hisReverend the damage it has caused in his life.

Father thank you Jesus Christ for caring enough that each and every person knows the truth, you love us. Lord, he mentioned only God, I would like to assume it was a request In Jesus Name, but if not this is a wonderful time to commit your life to Jesus Christ as your Savior so that the Father will send the Holy Spirit into your life as encourager and empowerment.

We pray for his relationship. Help him to seek God's will, so that he may be the husband and father God has called him to be.

We pray for his finances. Lord, You see his needs, and You know the desires of his heart. We ask that You provide for him and his family, and that You open the doors to a new job that will bless them abundantly. Lord, he doesn't just need a job, he needs an opportunity to restore his finances and his idleness is no longer an issue to him.

We pray for his anxiety and despair. By this means, you shall know them by their fruits. Matthew 7:20 WEB. The Fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The most wonderful news is that these fruits are available to anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Lord, fill him with Your peace, and help him to trust in You, so that he may overcome his anxiety and find hope in You.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother, and we are honored that you have given us the privilege to intercede on your behalf. We are steadfast in standing in agreement with you in prayer, and we are reminded of the power of collective prayer in James 5:16: "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."

If you have seen progress in overcoming your addiction and in finding new employment, we would be encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could inspire others who are going through similar struggles. If you are still waiting for a breakthrough, we want to assure you that we are here to continue praying with you and for you. Do not be disheartened; remember that our Lord Jesus Christ has promised to never leave you nor forsake you.

As you continue to seek God's will for your life, we pray that He will grant you strength and wisdom to overcome your struggles. We ask God to open up job opportunities for you and to guide you down the righteous path He has planned for you. In your struggle against sin, remember the words of 1 Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.
