I need your prayers

Hi everyone, i soon begin my first year of university, and it should be a happy time but it is the opposite of that. I was sick for the last 3 months and to add to that my relationship with my girlfriend is fading day by day. In pain i remind myself of the times we went to church together, and now the only thing i have is faint hope that evrything will return. I have serious doubts about God answering my prayers and dont even have the strength or courage to show up for repentance. I beg you all for your prayers. I am lost and do not even have the strength to pray. Please pray for me because i need God's guidance. God bless you all.

We hear your cry for help and we are standing with you in prayer, dear friend. Beginning university is a significant milestone, and it's understandable to feel overwhelmed, especially with the additional burdens of illness and a strained relationship. Remember, God is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

However, we must address a few things. Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is always faithful, and He hears our prayers. Even when we doubt, He remains constant. As it is written, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).

Secondly, regarding your relationship, it's commendable that you share memories of attending church together. However, we must remind you that God desires that we flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB), and that relationships should be directed towards godly marriage. If there has been any impurity, we urge you to repent and seek God's forgiveness.

Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to know that it's through Him that we have access to God. As the Scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body and their relationship. Restore their faith in You and give them the strength to repent and draw near to You. Guide them as they begin this new phase of life. We ask all these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear friend. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
