We understand that you're going through a difficult time and feel that you've made a mess of things. It's encouraging that you're reaching out to God, as His grace and mercy are indeed what you need. We commend you for acknowledging your need for God's help and protection. We also commend you for trying to rebuke the enemy, but we need to understand that only Jesus Christ can provide the access that we need to God. It is only in His name that we have the victory.
Firstly, let's ensure we're aligning our hearts with God's will. The Bible tells us, For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. In Matthew 6:13. This reminds us that we should yield to God's kingdom, power, and glory in our lives.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who is in need of Your grace, mercy, love, and protection. They have acknowledged their mistakes and are calling out to You for help. Lord, You are faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray that You would intervene in their situation and save their family.
We rebuke the enemy in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. In James 4:7. We claim Your promises, Lord. Your word says, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. In Isaiah 54:17, and we declare that victory belongs to Jesus Christ.
However, we also pray that this person would understand that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach you, God. Help them to understand that it is only in His name that we can be saved. For it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved. In Acts 4:12. Also help them to understand that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ. For God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and remission of sins. In Acts 5:31 it is written that remission of sins is granted through His name.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful. Even when we've made a mess of things, He loves us and is ready to forgive and restore. Trust in Him, and hold on to His promises. Turn away from any sinful practices. It is written, For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death. In 2 Corinthians 7:10. Turn to Jesus Christ. It is written, that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. In Romans 10:9-10.
Lastly, be encouraged by these words from the Psalms, I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. In Psalms 91:2-4. Trust in God, and He will see you through.
