Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that the use of "amen" is a solemn declaration of affirmation, but it does not necessarily make your request aligned with God's will. We are reminded that our hearts are prone to being deceptive, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9 WEB). There is no request that is more urgent than a relationship with Jesus Christ and knowing Him personally.

It's also crucial to ensure that your relationships align with biblical principles. If this person is a potential spouse, then it is important to honor God in your courtship and have a goal of a godly marriage.

God wants us to live our lives according to His Word and His Will, rather than being ruled by our emotions and desires. We are told in Romans 12:2, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Let's pray together:

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
