We understand your situation, Lathellyn, and we are here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
We pray that you will trust in God's provision and that He will open the right doors for you to support your family. We also pray for your job interview, that God's will be done, and that if it is His will, you will get this job. Remember that our work is a way to glorify God and to serve others. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB:
βWhatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."
However, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us, Acts 4:12 speaking of Jesus says,
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
We want to encourage you to make sure you are looking towards Jesus in all you do, including providing for your family.
Lastly, we want to address the reason you left your previous job. We understand that stress can be overwhelming, but we encourage you to consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44 WEB:
"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
As followers of Christ, we are called to love our enemies and to bless those who curse us. This includes difficult coworkers. We encourage you to pray for them and to seek reconciliation if possible.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Lathellyn and his family. We pray that You will provide for their needs and that You will open the right doors for Lathellyn to find a job. We pray that Your will be done in his job interview and that if it is Your will, he will get this job. We also pray for Lathellyn's previous coworkers, that You will bless them and that You will bring reconciliation if it is Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
