I need to get things right with God. I live life that is far from God, but my problem is that when I pray, I only put words in prayer not my heart being kinda unwilling to give up old life or something. I seek to find wife to satisfy my needs for love and friendship and to fix the loneliness issue but I am not seeking the love of God because I dont feel it. I ask prayers that God would help me out of this despite of my efforts. I pray God would not hold these things against me but rather carry me where I am not able to help myself in my current state.

The word of God tells us that the just shall live by faith . NOTHING will EVER work out right for you in your life if you put ANYONE before God , He is a jealous God and He wants to be first in your life . Seek Him with your whole heart , He knows what you have need of .

I already know that. However I am not good at it and I need prayers that God would help me. Also could you point out how exactly following him with whole heart works? What do I need to do?

Surrender your life over to Him , consult Him before you do anything and He will direct your path , He only wants the very best for you and if you follow His instruction , you will NEVER be sorry . The Lord is our ONLY hope in this lost world and He IS coming back very soon and we need to be ready for His return .

Prayer is the best way , He will let us know what to do if we ask Him , He will give you peace about your decisions if they are within the will of God . Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal God to you in a way that you have never known before , read the Bible and learn the ways the Lord wants us to live a life that is pleasing to Him , THEN you will have peace in your heart .
