Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up Wisewig's husband, marriage, and family in prayer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon this man who is struggling with deep depression. We know that You understand the depths of his pain and the battles he faces, and we ask for Your divine intervention in his life right now.
Your Word tells us in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Lord, we ask that You would strengthen this man and uphold him with Your righteous right hand. Help him to let go of the past and the choices that haunt him, and to find peace and healing in Your truth.
We pray against the lies of the enemy that torment his mind. In John 8:32, You said, "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." We ask that Your truth would penetrate his heart and mind, setting him free from the darkness that seeks to consume him. May he come to know and believe that his life is valuable and precious in Your sight.
Lord, we also lift up the medicine and counseling he is receiving. We pray that the medicine would be effective in stabilizing his mood and that the counseling would provide the support and guidance he needs. We ask for wisdom and discernment for the counselors and medical professionals involved in his care.
Father, we pray for Wisewig as well. Grant the strength, compassion, empathy, and understanding needed to support her husband through this difficult time. Guide the footsteps and decisions that are made for the well-being of the entire family. May this trial not dissolve their marriage, but instead, make it stronger and more resilient. As Ecclesiastes 4:12 reminds us, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Be the third strand in their marriage, holding them together and making them stronger.
We pray that this family would find their way to a happy place again, where joy and peace abound. May this man find his way back to a place of happiness and wholeness, walking closely with You. Guide every step they take, and bring them through to the other side, alive and thriving.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
