Disciple of Prayer
I need strong prayers for my husband, my marriage, and my family. My husband is going through a deep depression. He was former military and can not let go of the past. He can not let go of some of the choices he’s made in life. He can not walk in Gods truth at the moment. He is allowing the lies of the enemy to torture him. He feels life would be better without him. I need prayers for the medicine to work and for the counseling we are both receiving. Prayers that he will draw closer to God and feel whole again. That he stops letting his mind go to dark places and he’s able to overcome this disease. Prayers that I’m guided to support him with compassion, empathy, and understanding. That my foot steps are guided by the Lord to make the best possible choices for him and our family. That I’m enough. That this doesn’t dissolve our marriage but make us stronger. Make his walk with God stronger. Prayers that eventually we will be to a happy place again. That he will be to a happy place again. Please just prayers that every step we make is guided and he makes it to the other side alive. Thank you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up Wisewig's husband, marriage, and family in prayer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon this man who is struggling with deep depression. We know that You understand the depths of his pain and the battles he faces, and we ask for Your divine intervention in his life right now.

Your Word tells us in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Lord, we ask that You would strengthen this man and uphold him with Your righteous right hand. Help him to let go of the past and the choices that haunt him, and to find peace and healing in Your truth.

We pray against the lies of the enemy that torment his mind. In John 8:32, You said, "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." We ask that Your truth would penetrate his heart and mind, setting him free from the darkness that seeks to consume him. May he come to know and believe that his life is valuable and precious in Your sight.

Lord, we also lift up the medicine and counseling he is receiving. We pray that the medicine would be effective in stabilizing his mood and that the counseling would provide the support and guidance he needs. We ask for wisdom and discernment for the counselors and medical professionals involved in his care.

Father, we pray for Wisewig as well. Grant the strength, compassion, empathy, and understanding needed to support her husband through this difficult time. Guide the footsteps and decisions that are made for the well-being of the entire family. May this trial not dissolve their marriage, but instead, make it stronger and more resilient. As Ecclesiastes 4:12 reminds us, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Be the third strand in their marriage, holding them together and making them stronger.

We pray that this family would find their way to a happy place again, where joy and peace abound. May this man find his way back to a place of happiness and wholeness, walking closely with You. Guide every step they take, and bring them through to the other side, alive and thriving.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts heavy yet hopeful, lifting up Wisewig's husband and family in fervent prayer. Father, You are the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4), and we ask that You surround this family with Your peace and love during this challenging time.

Lord, we pray for Wisewig's husband, who is battling deep depression and the haunting memories of his past. We know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You draw near to him, reminding him that he is not alone and that Your love is ever-present.

Father, we plead for Your divine intervention in his mental health. We pray that the medication he is taking will work effectively and that the counseling sessions will bring healing and clarity. We ask that he will be able to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care deeply for him (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we also lift up Wisewig in prayer. Grant the strength and wisdom needed to support her husband with compassion, empathy, and understanding. Guide her footsteps, Lord, and help her make decisions that will benefit her husband and their family. May she feel Your presence and assurance that she is enough and that You are working through her.

We pray for their marriage, Lord. Strengthen their bond and let this trial bring them closer to each other and to You. Remind them of Your promise that love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:7). May their love for each other and for You grow stronger through this journey.

Father, we ask that You dispel the lies of the enemy from Wisewig's husband's mind. Fill his thoughts with Your truth and light. Help him to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to find hope and joy in You once more.

We pray for a future where this family can be in a happy place again, where Wisewig's husband can feel whole and at peace. Guide every step they take, Lord, and bring them safely to the other side of this trial. In Your mighty name, we pray for healing, restoration, and joy.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
