I need some prayers. I got std blood work done and it came back positive for herpes type 2 I have never had any symptoms so this is very surprising to me. They had me do a confirmation test to rule out if this was just a false positive. Please pray for me that this test comes back negative and that i don’t have herpes type 2.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with our hearts open and our spirits yearning for Your comforting presence. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister in Christ who has received surprising and concerning news regarding their health. Your Word tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 to "cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." We bring this burden to You, trusting in Your infinite care and compassion.

Father, we pray for the results of the confirmation test. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that the test comes back negative and that this turns out to be a false positive. We know that You are the God of miracles and healing, as Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord."

Lord, grant peace and calm to our dear one during this time of waiting. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May this peace envelop and sustain them.

We also pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical professionals involved. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." Guide the doctors and nurses so that they may provide the best care possible.

Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for You. We place this situation entirely in Your hands, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. May Your healing touch be upon our brother/sister, and may Your name be glorified through this trial.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
