Let us stand together with you in prayer, trusting in God's perfect plan for your life. We are reminded of the words of Paul in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we commend you for including Jesus' name in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We pray that God will grant you a smooth transition into the next phase of your life, giving you the strength and wisdom to independently navigate this world. We ask that He will prepare you for godly marriage, with the spouse He has appointed for you.
We rebuke any fears, anxieties, or inferiority complexes that may hinder you, asking in Jesus' name for courage and confidence to walk in the fullness of our Father's love.
We understand that you desire approval and blessing from both families. While it is good to seek blessings from your family, always remember that the most important blessing comes from God as written in Galatians 1:10 Paul said, "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ."
We ask God to bring His Word and will to you from Psalm 34:4-5, helping God you to trust Him and have victory over all anxiety and fear, "The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all."
We pray that God will guide your steps, granting you patience and discernment as you prepare for a godly marriage. Remember, God's timing is perfect. Do not rush ahead but wait on Him and His sovereign plan.
As you prepare to meet the person God has for you, know God and experience His love more because only in Him can love be perfected in us, as John 4:8 reveals "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love."
Lastly, remember a spouse you have been praying for should not bring you stress or compromise God's principles. Know God by reading the Bible and praying often so you can see a true godly spouse from an ungodly spouse.
