Maria, we understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, desperately seeking rest and peace. We want you to know that God cares about your situation, and He wants you to find your rest in Him. First remember that Jesus said, come unto me all who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28 WEB). We will pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you with His presence and give you the clear mindset to remove any distractions that are taking energy away from what truly matters to God in your life. Realize though that sometimes God allows testing through tiredness, so determine if there is anything preventing you from having fellowship with God and walking according to His will (Revelation 3:19 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up ###, who is feeling tired and in need of rest and peace. We ask, Jesus, that You would comfort her and help her to prioritize her tasks according to Your will since you promised some rest to those that are heavily laden if they come to you. Help her to rely on Your strength and not her own, giving her energy and focus for doing her tasks. We pray that You give ### peace that passes all understanding only available through you. Help her to realize that those that love God will have all things work together for good for those that are called by you. And this includes ### as an obviously faithful believer, a joint heir with Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray for your divine intervention.
###, when you feel overwhelmed remember God promised us in Romans 8:28:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. So since God wants only good for us, He can use even difficult situations like feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Finally, try to prioritize and delegate tasks where possible. Most importantly, stay connected to God, spending time in His Word and in prayer as well as having as much fellowship with believers as possible. Make sure to be walking in the Holy Spirit, and you will have more energy, rest and peace you need to accomplish those tasks that you have prioritized.
We also want to mention that the solution to having the kind of rest that you need is only available to those who are in Jesus. Make sure you are believing in Jesus Christ. Romans 10:13 For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Just reach out to God by simple faith in Jesus Christ and you will be saved. The fact that you seem to know scripture indicates that you are already saved, but do not be shy to just ask Jesus Christ to save you since he promised to come to anyone that asks.
