Epistreira, we understand that you're feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and struggling with depression. We want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Firstly, we want to address the issue of your husband Jeff. We understand that you're feeling abandoned and that you desperately want him to return. However, we must remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). We need to pray for your marriage, for God's will to be done, and for God to convict Jeff's heart. It's important to remember that you are not alone. God is with you and He cares for you. And don't forget to have hope. There is nothing impossible with God.
We also want to address the issue of your depression. It's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our mental health. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister Epistreira. Lord, she feels alone, overwhelmed, and is struggling with depression. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around her and comfort her. Give her the strength and courage to face each day.
Lord, we also pray for her marriage. We ask that You work in Jeff's heart and draw him back to his home and to You. We pray for healing, restoration, and a miraculous rekindling of their love and commitment. Please decide if this is your will as we pray.
And Lord, we pray for you to carry her burdens and help her to get everything done and time to rest and sleep.
Lord, we also pray for her finances. We ask that You provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory.
And Lord, we pray for her pets. We ask that You provide homes for them if that is Your will. And help with all the burdens she is carrying.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Epistreira, remember that God loves you and He has a plan for your life. Trust in Him and His timing. Also, consider seeking out a local body of believers. God created us to be in community with one another, and a church family can provide support, encouragement, and help you grow in your faith.
Lastly, we want to leave you with this verse from Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Trust in the Lord of your life.
