AmenWe understand that you're seeking protection and deliverance from demonic possession and witchcraft. Firstly, it's crucial to declare that all authority belongs to Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we can be saved and have access to God. As it is written, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
In addressing your concern, we must recognize that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). When you believe in the Lord Jesus, you become a child of God, and He gives you the authority to resist the devil and his demons. As the Bible says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
We need to pray the full armor of God. It is stated very clearly in the following verses.
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:10-13).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and deliverance for Isaac Samuel Lubwama. We stand on Your Word, which says, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you" (Luke 10:19).
We rebuke and renounce any demonic possession, witchcraft, and evil spirits that may be influencing Isaac's life. By the authority given to us in the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave and never return. We pray that You, Lord, would fill Isaac with Your Holy Spirit, granting him peace, strength, and the fullness of Your love. Your Word says, 'I know, Lord, that you are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger, rich in love and ready to forgive. I speak to that land covered with thorns and briers, to all the nations that make war on Jerusalem on the hill that will become holy to God, I proclaim: 'You will be a pasture for sheep and goats.' Save us, Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations to praise your holy name and glory in your praise. We confess our sins and the sins of our ancestors—all the ways we have sinned and acted wickedly. Our ancestors, kings, priests, and prophets—all the people of the land— have sinned against you, Lord, and disobeyed you. We do not pray because we deserve to be heard. We pray because of your compassion. Lord forgive us and our ancestors and bring us back to yourself. Do not be angry beyond measure Do not punish us for all our sins, for only a few of us will be left Both you and our ancestors have sinned. Both we and our kings and princes have sinned against you. We are covered with shame because we have sinned against you, Lord our God—we and our kings and princes and ancestors.(Daniel 9:4-8 WEB). We renounce the sins of the ancestors that are bound upon us through witchcraft. We claim the promise of 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Father, surround Isaac with Your hedge of protection, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help him to be sober and self-controlled. Help Isaac to be watchful, because his adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.(1 Peter 5:8 WEB). We will resist him steadfast in our faith, knowing that our brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings. We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen!
