We understand your struggle with patience and tolerance, especially when dealing with younger children, including your sister. It's important to remember that our actions and words should always reflect the love and kindness of Christ, even when we feel irritated or annoyed.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your behavior and seeking prayer and help. It's crucial to address the way you speak to your sister. Sarcastic and raw tones can be hurtful and damaging, especially to a young child. As it says in Ephesians 4:29, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Regarding your annoyance with younger children at church, it's important to remember that Jesus himself welcomed and blessed children. In Mark 10:14, Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
It's also important that Jesus Christ is mentioned in your prayer request. It is only by His name that we have access to God and it is only by his name we can be saved. In John 14:6, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up Eliarwick. Lord, we ask that you fill her with your patience, love, and kindness. Help her to interact with her sister and other children with a heart that reflects your love. Help her to be more rooting for them than irritated. Lord, we know that your world belongs to such. Help her to be a blessing to them. Give her a greater measure of self-control and grace in her words and actions. Help her to be the light in the world. Help her to be a great mother one day. Prepare her and the husband you will give her to serve you in raising your children. Help her to pray to you in Jesus Christ's name.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you, to practice kindness and patience with your sister and the children at church. Remember, children are a blessing from the Lord, and caring for them is an opportunity to show Christ's love. Keep praying and seeking God's guidance.
