Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts heavy with concern for Runlisle and the situation with her husband’s job. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We trust in Your sovereignty and Your ability to provide in all circumstances.
Father, we lift up Runlisle's husband to You. We ask that You grant him favor in the eyes of his employers. May his work be seen as diligent and valuable, and may any misunderstandings or issues be resolved peacefully and justly. Your Word tells us that You know the plans You have for us, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We hold onto this promise for Runlisle's husband.
Lord, we also pray for peace and comfort for Runlisle and her family during this uncertain time. May they feel Your presence and be reminded that You are their provider. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present our requests to You. And Your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Let this peace rest upon Runlisle and her husband.
We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
