Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, our Advocate and Intercessor. We lift up this prayer request on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking good news about their income taxes. Lord, you know the financial burdens and anxieties that they may be facing. We ask that you grant them favor and blessings in this area of their life.
Your Word assures us that we can come boldly to your throne of grace, and we claim that promise today. We ask that you open doors and provide opportunities for our friend to receive the good news they are hoping for. May their income taxes be resolved in a way that brings them peace and relief.
We also pray for patience and trust during this waiting period. Help our friend to lean on you and find comfort in your presence. Remind them that you are their provider and that you care for every aspect of their life.
As we lift up this prayer, we are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 16:24, "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name; ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full." We claim this promise and ask that you grant our friend the joy of receiving good news about their income taxes.
We also pray for a heart of gratitude and thankfulness. Help our friend to remember to give thanks to you, even in the midst of their waiting. We know that you are working all things together for their good.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
