Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend Manny to you. Lord, we are deeply concerned for his well-being as he is struggling with thoughts of suicide. We ask for your divine intervention in his life, that you would bring him peace and comfort in the midst of his pain.
Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Be careful for nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God: and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." We claim this promise for Manny, Lord. We ask that you would surround him with your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We pray that you would reveal yourself to Manny as the friend who understands his sorrows and can provide true comfort. Help him to open his heart to you, just as the poor Christian slave answered, "I must tell the Lord" when faced with threats and punishment. May Manny find solace in pouring out his troubles to you, knowing that you are always there to listen and to heal.
Lord, we also pray for Shabrim, who is deeply concerned for Manny's well-being. Grant Shabrim strength and wisdom as they support their friend during this difficult time. Fill them with your love and compassion, enabling them to be a source of encouragement and hope.
We trust in your power to bring transformation and healing, Lord. We ask that you would intervene in Manny's life, bringing him the help and support he needs. Surround him with people who can provide the necessary care and guidance. May your love and grace shine through every situation he faces.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to lift Manny and Shabrim up in prayer, trusting that God will work in their lives according to His perfect will. May they both experience the peace and love of Christ during this challenging time.
