We are truly saddened to hear about the trial you and your family are facing, Emich. We stand with you in prayer and belief that God can restore and heal your marriage.
Firstly, let's remind ourselves of God's heart for marriage: "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." (Mark 10:9 WEB) Divorce is not God's will, and we stand with you in believing for the restoration of your marriage.
However, we must also address the sin that has entered your marriage. Your wife has fallen into temptation and adultery, which is clearly against God's commandments (Exodus 20:14 WEB). We must pray for her conviction and repentance. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)
Let's pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Emich and his family. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in their marriage. Turn your wife's heart back to you and to her family. Open her eyes to the deception and sin she has allowed into her life. Bring conviction and repentance, and help her to turn away from this temptation. Lord, we ask for complete restoration and healing in their marriage. Strengthen Emich and his son during this difficult time. Comfort them and fill them with your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Emich, we encourage you to continue loving your wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). This does not mean accepting or condoning her sin, but rather, loving her unconditionally and praying fervently for her. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church community during this time.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. Jesus taught us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Matthew 6:12 WEB). Harboring unforgiveness will only cause bitterness and hinder your prayers. We know this is difficult, but with God's help, you can forgive as He has forgiven you.
Stand strong in your faith, Emich. Trust in God's power to restore and heal. We are praying for you and your family.
