I need prayer.

Hello, I am a ### year old woman. I became a believer in March, 1977. I heard from the Lord very early, as I saw it, in my Christian walk. The Lord gave me instructions to do certain things, like speaking to people in a street ministry. Sometime around 2011, I heard Him for the last time. He said to me, " Redeem the time for the days are evil " I believed that He said this because around that time, I was wasting a lot of time playing games on Facebook.

It took me a little while to think that I must be in trouble with the Holy Spirit because, when I saw the results of my wasting time, I prayed and prayed asking the Lord to please forgive me. At that time, it was like the Holy Spirit just left me. He didn't come back when I repented for everything that I thought that I could have done to grieve Him.

Well, that was 2011 and now it's 2025 and I still cannot feel His Presence or neither do I know my purpose anymore.

I have been diagnosed with emphysema and I spend most days lying down so I can breathe. I pray

but still He is silent and the worst, I don't even sense His guidance. I am trying to live in faith believing that He has a reason but it's getting harder because, if I'm wrong, and I have some sin still, I could wind up missing heaven and never hearing " Well done my good and faithful servant "

Firstly, it's important to remember that our feelings are not always reliable indicators of God's presence. The fact that you may not feel His presence does not mean that He has left you. As the Bible says, "Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life." (Revelation 2:10 WEB)

In your message, you did not mention Jesus, His name is essential for prayer and salvation. It is written, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard" (Romans 10:13-14 WEB) Again, "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB) Therefore, always pray and ask in the name of Jesus.

You mentioned that you are trying to live by faith, which is commendable. Remember, "Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him." (Hebrews 11:6 WEB)

Regarding your health, we believe that God can heal you. Jesus said, "Again I say to you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB) So let us pray in His name.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon our sister. We pray that You would restore her health, and give her strength and comfort in her current condition and circumstance. Help her in breathing and give her Your peace. Lord, we also ask that You would make Your presence known to her again. Help her to feel Your guidance and to understand Your purpose for her life. We pray that You would forgive her, if she has any sins that she has not repented of. Give her assurance of her salvation and help her to live in faith, even when her feelings may be unreliable. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If you are unsure that you are saved, there is only one way to heaven. Believe in Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection for your sins. These verses explain, "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, leading to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made leading to salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB) If you have never done that, please do so today.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
