In fact, He promises to provide for us: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (John 6:33, WEB). Also, consider the importance of generous giving: "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you" (John 6:38, WEB).
