Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Bigisdar and their family. Lord, we acknowledge that You are the source of all wisdom, strength, and guidance. We bring before You the situation with their stepson who is struggling with alcohol and drug addiction, causing trouble and fear in their home.
Lord, we ask for Your intervention in this situation. We pray that You would touch the heart of their stepson and bring about a transformation in his life. We pray that You would break the chains of addiction and set him free from the bondage that holds him captive. Your Word says in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." We claim this promise over their stepson's life, believing that You can bring about a miraculous change.
Lord, we also pray for peace and protection for Bigisdar and their family. We ask that You would surround them with Your divine presence and shield them from any harm or danger. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." We trust in Your faithfulness and ask for Your supernatural protection over their home.
Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for Bigisdar and their spouse as they navigate this challenging situation. Give them the right words to speak and the right actions to take. Help them to respond with love and grace, yet also with firmness and boundaries. Your Word reminds us in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." We ask for Your wisdom to guide them in every decision they make.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for the authorities involved in this situation. We ask for Your divine intervention and guidance as they seek to address the issues at hand. May Your justice prevail and may Your will be done in this matter.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that You are able to bring healing, restoration, and peace to this family. Amen.
