Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is feeling overwhelmed with anxiety. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we ask that You pour out Your peace upon them right now. Calm their anxious heart and mind, and let them feel Your comforting presence. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You because You care for them.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promise to bring peace and calm to their spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
