I need prayer. I have had heart anxiety for almost half my life. It has really gotten worse lately. I do see someone and am on medication. I do believe in God. I believe that He created the heavens and the earth and everything in them. I believe that Jesus is the son of God and that he died for everyone. I am struggling with my faith and my heart anxiety at the moment. My heart rate is out of control and my head is out of control. I do go to Church (not regularly though) and am part of a group. I have divulged my struggle with them the last weekend. However, I don't feel God's presence and I don't hear from him. In Church they say 'the presence of the Lord is here'. Is it? I would have no idea. I go along and do the required things, sing, listen to the sermon and then go home. No one at home believes. I am terrified that this heart stuff is going to kill me. I am terrified of death. As a Christian, I should know where I'm going, but with everything that's gone on in the last 25 years or so, I don't think I do. Why has God let this go on so long? Why is he letting this torment rob me of life? I am terrified and I am sick of this constant torment in my head. I have no one. My husband is so sick and tired of this, he either gets angry at me or makes jokes. That doesn't help. I've have asked for prayer so many times, yet it doesn't go away. I don't understand why I'm being tormented like this and I don't know how to stop letting it happen. Does God want me, or is he like my husband, and sick of it too? How do you know God wants you? I know the Bible says He does, but when he seems no where in this, it's hard to believe. Sorry for the long winded post. God bless.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

The truth is, the Spirit of God is in you, made Himself ONE with you. You are His Temple. He is constantly with you, It's simply accepting that truth, and instead of trying to "feel" the presence of God, just acknowledge He is there. God, whether I "feel" you or not, I'm simply going to acknowledge your presence in my life. I'm going to stop trying to "feel" you, I'm simply going to rest in your word, Greater is He that is me than he that is in the world.
I also, for years, didn't "feel God or the Spirit" and when I would hear people say, the presence of God is here, I go, oh really? Even people say, evil is here, and I go, really? I don't sense anything. So, I wondered about that for years, but having said that I kept going on with God.
I would encourage you to simply start talking to God or Holy Spirit. Don't be afraid to ask question, God knows your heart.
Father, thank you that this child of your has the mind of Christ and can know your thoughts, because Your Spirit is ONE with her, like the color blue put in a glass of water, the water and color has become ONE. Direct her step, and thank You for helping her recognize that acknowledging every good thing in her...righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. She is the blessed and beloved.
