Humble Prayer Partner
I need prayer help for my second child, she is twelve years old and in standard 5, here in Trinidad and Tobago we have an exam that is abbreviated SEA Exam (Secondary Entry Assessment Exam). According to our education system it puts them into a secondary school and there are certain schools that are harder to get into because of the percentages needed to get in (prestigious schools).You as a parent are given 4 chances to choose 4 schools ranging from highest percentile to lowest that you think your child is capable of. It happens that my eldest daughter did this test already and secured a spot in one of the "prestigious schools" with her high percentages obtained, however my second daughter is scheduled to write this exam in June 2021. I must say that she is intelligent and has the potential to pass for the first choice school that we put for her, which happens to be the same school her sister attends. However she is been neglecting her studies . I am a single mom and I just changed jobs one week ago yet I cannot concentrate cause she has online zoom classes for school because of the Covid 19 pandemic and apparently has been skipping classes ,lying about marks obtained, not performing ,lying saying she doesn't have internet when she does, lying saying her camera and microphone aren't working also submitting false higher marks.....I know her capabilities and I know that she can pass for the same school as her sister, which is my goal, because as a struggling single mother of three it would be easy for her with uniforms, books and travelling fees with a driver etc.... it is the more economical as well as logical choice and trust me she has the capabilities. The teacher caught her in lies and false information being submitted last week and I thought I handled the situation because I have been keeping a more vigilant watch on her and making sure the work is submitted on a timely matter and even before this incident since January we have been praying together, my 3 kids and myself every morning and night and yet she is still lying and being dishonest....her newest tactic is that she is correcting incorrect sums and submitting false marks for records and now the teacher is fed up and is questioning all her marks from the beginning of the school term. This is important cause its marks submitted to the Ministry of Education. Miss has threatened to make her not even write the exam....and I am so tired and fed up cause I'm a praying everyday with her and yet she is still lying and cheating.... In summary please pray with me and for us ,that she prays sincerely and that she stops her lying and cheating ways and that she is given the chance to sit the exam and that her performance and marks excel before the end of next month honestly and that she passes for the school of her first choice please.
