We are here to stand with you in prayer for peace and healing. Firstly, let us remember that it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for it is written, There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We should always remember this.
In seeking peace and healing, let us turn to the words of the Apostle Paul, who encouraged us to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks your peace and healing. We ask that you comfort them in their time of need, and that you be the lifter of their head. Psalm 3:3. We pray that your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fills them as they rest in you. We pray that their healing be upon your wings, providing your touch to heal their bodies and minds. We pray that they be able to testify to others about your healing in their life. We pray that they seek to honor you by living a life more like Jesus'.
We rebuke any anxiety or fear in their life in the name of Jesus, and we claim your promise that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.
We pray that they be encouraged, knowing that you are always with them, and that you will never leave them nor forsake them. Deuteronomy 31:6.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus, who died on the cross that we be freed from sin and have eternal life. For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13. If you have not yet done this, please consider this. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We rejoice in your goodness and your faithfulness, Lord, and we thank you for the healing and peace that you are pouring out even now.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that our prayers are heard by our loving Heavenly Father. Trust in him, and rest in his care. We will be praying for you.
