We understand your burden, Nothart, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical counsel. Let's bring your family before the Lord, seeking His help and guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you of what the Apostle Paul says in Ephesians 6:12 WEB, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The challenges in your family are not just about the people, but the spiritual forces at work.
Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Nothart's family to You. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing—the grudges, hatred, fighting, and selfishness. We ask, Lord, that You would intervene and bring peace and unity to this family.
Lord, we pray for Nothart's older son. Guide him in his decisions, help him to take responsibility, and give him a heart that respects and honors others, especially his family. Surround him with godly influences and help him to seek after You. As it says in Proverbs 29:15 WEB, 'The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself causes shame to his mother.' Lord, we ask that You would draw him to Your wisdom and understanding.
Father, we also pray for the salvation of Nothart's entire family, including her grandchildren and daughter-in-law. Open their hearts to Your love and truth. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.' Lord, we ask that each member of this family would come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.
Finally, Lord, we pray for Nothart. Help her to know that she has not failed as a mother. Give her strength, wisdom, and patience as she navigates these challenges. Comfort her heart and help her to trust in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Nothart, remember that God loves your family even more than you do. Trust in Him and His plans for your family. Keep praying and don't lose heart. As it says in Galatians 6:9 WEB, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up."
Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention Jesus in your request. We want to remind you that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God. If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Him. As it says in Romans 10:9 WEB, "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
