April, we are here to intercede for you and your family, and we trust that God will hear our prayers united in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend your mother Maribel for her strength and unyielding support. It reminds us of 1 Corinthians 13:7, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
However, we must address some concerns according to biblical principles. Your father's past involvement with witchcraft is a serious matter. The Bible is clear that we should not engage in such practices. Acts 19:19 shows us the example of those who practiced magic arts bringing their books together and burning them in the sight of all. We need to pray for your father's complete deliverance from his past and for his sobriety.
Let's pray:
"Father God, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up April and her family. Lord, we ask for your divine healing touch upon April's dad. Deliver him completely from the bonds of witchcraft and addiction. Give him a new heart that seeks after you. We also ask for your healing hand upon April's sister. Guide her and give her the strength to endure.
Lord, we pray for April. open the right doors for her to find a job to support her family. Comfort her in her depression, and renew her hope in you. Remind her of your love and faithfulness, as stated in Psalm 34:18, 'The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit.'
Surround this family with your favor and protection. Give them the strength to endure and the faith to believe, in Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
April, we also encourage you to keep your hope in Jesus Christ. He says in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Keep seeking Him, and He will make a way.
Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention Jesus in your request. We want to remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to God. If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 states, "If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the most important step you can take.
