Lord please let David "Be still and know that You are Lord" and have a calm mind resting in Jesus! Remind him that like Moses Your "presence will be with him". Lord David comes to You for calm and peace in the workplace and this is the right thing to do. Let him be obedient if needed, anything it takes for calm and success to persist in his job. Protect him and his job by Your strong right arm in Jesus' name. Amen!
David I pray the same things for myself at work. I have a very hard time bridling my tongue! I have talked with friends who, along with me, beg the Holy Spirit to let us just "Be still and know that He is Lord"!!! I feel for you, Lord help both David and myself and others who need to be in Your refuge at work. Let our quest for peace spill over into others lives for good example and their blessings of positive places where we are and prayers are lifted up for all in our presence. How often Lord do You put US in troubled places to make them better by lifting up Your name in prayer? Give us peace as we show endurance in our situations Lord!
