We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking God's will for your life. We are thankful for your acknowledgement of Jesus Christ in your request as we have access to the throne of God only by his name.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks your guidance, wisdom, and blessing in every area of his life. We pray for your will to be done and for your glory to be revealed through his experiences, actions, and decisions. We ask for the Holy Spirit's presence and power to be manifest in his life.
We specifically come to you seeking your will for these areas:
First, we pray for his spiritual life and ministries, that you would guide him in your path (Psalm 25:4-5 WEB): Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation, in whom I have trusted all day long and you control your people forever and you have promised to be their guide continuously forever.
For his business and job, we ask for your wisdom and strategy, (Proverbs 16:3 WEB) Commit your deeds to Yahweh and your plans will succeed.
For him to look for a wife and start a family, we pray that you would provide a godly woman who fears you and follows your ways (Proverbs 31:30 WEB) Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised. We pray that he would pursue marriage in a way that honors you, keeping himself pure and holy (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB) For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who do not know God.
Regarding his financial area, we pray for your provision and blessing, asking that you would supply all his needs according to your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB) My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
For his relationships and friendships, we ask for your discernment and grace, that he would surround himself with wise and godly counsel (Proverbs 13:20 WEB) He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
We pray for his sport and physical activity, asking for your strength, endurance, and good health (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB) Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Father, we ask that you would be glorified in each area of our brother's life.
We offer encouragement to you, our brother, as you seek God's will. Remember that God is faithful to complete the good work he began in you (Philippians 1:6 WEB) being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
We praise God for your desire to seek his guidance and blessing. We encourage you to continue to trust in him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Lastly, we pray that if you have not already done so, take up your cross daily, repent from your sins, believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and surrender your heart, mind, soul, and body to Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to us by which we can be saved.
