Thank you for reaching out and sharing your prayer needs with us. It is so important to seek the Lord Jesus Christ in all areas of our lives, and we are glad to hear you acknowledge Him.
We are reminded to seek God's will and not our own desires.
First, let us address the spiritual life and ministries in the Lord. We are encouraged in Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. Seek to grow in your relationship with the Lord through His word and prayer, as this is the foundation for every other area of your life.
Regarding your request for guidance for a spouse, we need to clarify that God's Word is clear that a spouse should be chosen from among fellow believers.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
In seeking a wife, pray for a godly spouse who shares your faith and commitment to the Lord. Ask God to guide your steps and bring the right person into your life according to His will.
Consider the advice in Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Apply this wisdom to your search for a wife and in all other decisions.
For your business, job, and financial areas, remember that the Lord provides for His children, and we are to be good stewards of what He has given us.
Matthew 6:31-33 Therefore, do not be anxious, saying, "What will we eat?", "What will we drink?" or, "With what will we be clothed?" For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and His righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
In all your relationships and friendships, seek to be a blessing and a positive influence for Christ.
Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance.
For your involvement in sport and physical activity, remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor God with our bodies.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
Finally, we are thankful that you acknowledge the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and can receive salvation.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks Your wisdom, guidance, strategy, support, and blessing in every area of his life. We pray for his spiritual growth and ministries, that You would use him mightily for Your kingdom. We ask for Your direction in his business and job, and for Your provision in his financial needs. We pray that You would bring a godly wife into his life, according to Your will, and bless him with a family that honors You. We ask for Your blessing on his relationships and friendships, that they would be a positive influence for Christ. We pray for his involvement in sport and physical activity, that he would honor You with his body. In all these things, we pray that You would be glorified, in the holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
