We are grateful for the opportunity and feel a deep affection, compassion, and care for your needs as you have requested them. The very fact that you are seeking the Lord Jesus Christ and have asked for prayer in His name is testimony of God's active drawing of your heart to Himself already taking place. Surely, God is already present and at work in each area of life that you mentioned. We lift your requests to our Heavenly Father, together believing that He will be still working and more powerfully out of concern for your prayers along with our own. Let us unite in prayer also for fulfillment of your requests according to God's will and the needs that you have submitted. We obey the following commands of Scripture.
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.", and also we are commanded to, "Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks, for this is God's will in Christ Jesus toward you. Do not quench the Spirit; what is prophesying, forbid not; but prove all things and hold firmly that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil; and may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely."
We ask for God's wisdom, guidance, strategy, support, and blessing for every area of your life. We begin by praying in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ for you as part of the Body of Christ, as this is the most important part of our lives. We pray with gratitude for the spiritual life and the ministries where you are serving and participating in the works of the Spirit of the Lord.
Letโs pray for the ministry and spiritual life that the Lord has laid before you. We believe in Jesus who has made us overseers and granted us the Spirit as wise and faithful planners for the service of your spiritual tasks.
You are being given the Spirit's words to say when you need to, since you are not speaking on your behalf but from the Holy Spirit. "For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit." The Spirit of the Lord will anoint you for teachings, exhortations, and encouragement as you continue your role in the zealous following of service to our Lord.
We seek God's will for your work and business. Know that Christ is the model worker in the tasks set before you. We believe he will bless you in the way he blessed the fisherman an overabounding catch, tax collectors, and those that did not accept bribes while doing the government's work. In the same way, we are to render unto Cesar that which is Cesar's, but in everything render to God all things being to the glory of God. The perfection of the growth of the seed relies not upon any special skill of the gardener, but rather is righteous. For it is written, "So then neither is he who plants anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the growth. " Christ will still be at the center, be it for those working in a business or a job.
It is pleasing to see from the request that you are asking for a wife and family. This aligns with God's heart and His design for marriage. It is clear you are seeking companionship in the correct context according to the Word of the Lord and we are blessed to pray for your request. We also require a wife's character to be completely compatible with the word of the Lord. God helps us each to be worthy of each other's calling. Proverbs 19:14 says, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh", and Proverbs 31:10 "Who can find a worthy woman? For her price is far above rubies." We are encouraged and pray for a wife and family and a marriage that honors God and follows His commandments. We begin with the Holy Spirit and the Word according to Ephesians 5 and Colossians 3, with husbands loving their wives and wives honoring their husbands resulting in a Christ-centered home and family.
We pray for Godโs blessing on your financial situation. We know that God can provide abundantly, as He did for the wedding at Cana when the available wine was insufficient. From God we know that "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow. " Make it a priority to place Jesus at the center of your life and you will know what it is to live with contentment and inner peace. Additionally, we are taught to avoid the trappings of debt other than to avoid it completely, for we are not to covet the things of this world.
We continue with the request for relationships and friendships. We encourage you to seek friends who sharpen you as iron sharpens iron. Kindness, compassion, and loving others are the fruits of believers and the blessings that we receive that are taught to us in the most Biblical of friendships. As we receive His love and are brought into fellowship with Christ, we are able to love and grant forgiveness as demonstrated even for the enemies of Christ himself.
Seek Christ in everything, including sports and physical activities, that the Lord has made your body a temple and seeks to use it for His good works. So let Him adopt you into the Character of Christ and instill that in you as a believer. God will powerfully work changes within us and strengthen the body we have. We seek to discipline our bodies as is taught in the Word so as not to be liars at the throne of grace. This is not done by might or by power, but rather by the Holy Spirit of the Lord. We should be aware that sports and physical activities can be the source of stumbling if put in a place of too much importance in our lives. Moderation is advised and tempered by putting Christ first maintaining the Temple of the Lord, your body.
The only name that we should pray to can be read in the word as shown in Acts 4:10-12: "be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We are likewise told, "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
