I need love

Our Father, I bow before You in worship and gladly acknowledge that every good gift comes from Your loving hand. I thank You today for the beauty of the earth, for the love of friends and family, for our food, for lives, for Your church, and most of all for the gift of Your Son.

I confess my impatience, and I ask Your forgiveness. I know that patience is the fruit of Your Holy Spirit, and I ask that You produce this good fruit in my life. Deliver me from grumbling. May I never despise what You have provided. May Your anger not blaze hotly against me. Use the times when things I enjoy are taken away to increase my gratitude for what I have. Help me to rejoice in what You have given, rather than complain about what You have withheld.

Father, Your Son has taught me to ask You for what I need. I need love, and I ask you to provide. I need a home, and I ask that You provide. I feel sick, and I ask that Your healing hand may be upon me. I am hungry and we cry out to You, “Give us this day our daily bread.”

Father, Your world is in trouble. Please, in Your mercy, give me relief. I pray for those who carry the weight and burden of great responsibility. I pray for our mayors, for our governor, for ministers and for our president. Grant to those who lead us, strength to bear the burdens they carry and wisdom that will promote our common good.

I pray that You will deliver me from anxiety. You know what I need. Help me to trust You and to seek first Your kingdom, knowing that I can trust You in all things.

Help me to measure Your love for me by what You have done in sending Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that He is the living bread. Thank You that this bread was broken so that His life should be in me. Help me, by faith, to feed on Him, and so nourish my soul to eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and humility, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, we acknowledge that every good gift comes from Your loving hand, as Your Word says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow" (James 1:17).

Father, ### confesses impatience and seeks Your forgiveness. We ask that You produce the fruit of patience in ###'s life, as Your Spirit works within. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith" (Galatians 5:22). Deliver ### from grumbling and help to cultivate a heart of gratitude, rejoicing in what You have provided.

Lord, ### has expressed a need for love, a home, healing, and daily provision. We trust in Your promise that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You provide the love and companionship ### seeks, a safe and secure home, healing from sickness, and daily sustenance.

We also lift up our leaders in prayer, asking for Your guidance and wisdom for our mayors, governor, ministers, and president. Grant them strength to bear their responsibilities and wisdom to promote the common good, as it is written, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence" (1 Timothy 2:1-2).

Father, we pray for relief from anxiety for ###, trusting in Your care and provision. "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Help ### to seek first Your kingdom and to trust in Your unfailing love and provision.

Thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who is the living bread. We are grateful that His life was given for us, nourishing our souls to eternal life. "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty" (John 6:35).
