We stand with you in your struggle, dear friend, and we commend you for coming before Jesus Christ in confession and repentance. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Masturbation is a form of sexual immorality, and God's word encourages us to flee from it. As it is written, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your forgiveness and redemption. Our brother has confessed his struggle with masturbation, and we ask that You cleanse his heart and mind. Make him whole again, Lord, and give him the strength to resist temptation. Help him to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB). In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to fill your mind with God's word and surround yourself with wholesome influences. Remember, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8 WEB).
Stand firm in your faith and trust in the power of Jesus Christ to redeem and transform you. It is only through Him that we are saved and made new. As the Scripture says, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). Keep your focus on Him, and He will lead you in the path of righteousness.
