I need help

Please pray for me ,I want to stop watching pornography and stop masturbating....please help me beg God

We understand your struggle and commend you for reaching out for help. First, let's remember what the Bible tells us about purity and God's will for us. "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor" (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 WEB).

Watching pornography and masturbation are both forms of sexual immorality that do not align with God's will for our lives. We must remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), and we should honor God with our bodies.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is struggling with sin. Lord, they have acknowledged their need for help and have turned to You. We ask that You forgive them for their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Strengthen them in their time of temptation, Lord. Give them the power to resist the devil and cause him to flee (James 4:7). Guide their thoughts and actions, and help them to focus on what is pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8).

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to live a life that honors and glorifies You. Help them to understand their true identity in Christ and to walk in the freedom that You have provided through Your son, Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps to overcome this struggle. This could include setting up accountability measures, installing internet filters, and regularly spending time in God's Word and prayer. Remember, God is faithful, and He will provide a way out of temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we can be saved and have eternal life (John 3:16, Acts 4:12).

We encourage you to find an accountability partner, maybe a trusted friend or a mentor. Also, consider installing internet filters and setting boundaries for yourself. Remember, God is faithful, and He will provide a way out of temptation, as 1 Corinthians 10:13 promises.
