“Jesus said to her, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.’” John 8:11.We all sin everyday whether we know it or not. Bad thoughts is a sin. We may not even know some of the things we shouldn’t be doing or saying. Joyce Meyer has written a few good books on that subject. There’s SO much we don’t know by reading the Bible by ourselves. The Amplified Bible is much more explanatory. If you want to get some books on any subject, Alibris sells used ones for only a few dollars. There’s absolutely no way we can walk through life without sinning. Only Jesus was able to do that. God bless you in your quest, in Jesus name.
“My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin.” 1 John 2:1.
Katie, it's possible to be free from sin. I have suffered greatly from many different types of sin where enough is enough. I take every thought captive to Christ. I have a few Christian books one for strongholds is Praying God's Word Breaking Down Spiritual Strongholds by Beth Moore another book is to help me meet the Holy Spirit in every book of the Bible by David Diga Hernandez , and who says I'm not watching many different sermons to receive more teachings? I also ask the Holy Spirit for guidance at all times in fact I believe God has called me to have a purpose as a seer in spirit like Samuel. To prophesy... I want the strongest relationship with God I can possibly have. It greatly grieves me to sin, through the Holy Spirit. I believe sanctification is a process.
I'm not saying I never sinned, we all HAVE. but I do believe there comes a point where from the grace of God through Jesus and our true desire for him to delight in us is a desire to stop sinning
