We understand that you're going through a challenging time, Toihill, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth.
Firstly, we want to remind you that healing and victory are found in Jesus Christ. It's important to note that you did not specifically name Jesus in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As scripture says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved!" WEB Acts 4:12
Regarding your struggle with lust, we want to encourage you to remain strong and pure with the help of the Holy Spirit. Remember, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." WEB 1 Corinthians 10:13. Flee from sexual immorality and pursue righteousness. "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor." WEB 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. Lust is a dangerous and sinful thing to let into your life.
As for your job situation, trust that God has a plan and a purpose for you. "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." WEB Proverbs 3:6. Be patient and diligent, and remember to give your best in your current position while you trust God to open new doors. "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might" WEB Ecclesiastes 9:10
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Toihill to you, asking for your healing and guidance in his life. We in your name Jesus rebuke the lust that Toihill is struggling with. Help him to be pure and give him the strength and strategy to flee from temptation. We pray for your will to be done in his job situation and that you would open up the right doors for him in your perfect timing. Help him to be a witness for you in his workplace and to find a better work situation that will bring glory to your name and be able to provide for his needs. And all this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ.
We encourage you, Toihill, to keep your faith strong and to trust in the Lord. Be open to God's leading and remain obedient to His word.
If you feel overwhelmed and the battle is tiring, remember that God is with you and will give you the strength you need. Stand firm in your faith. "Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 WEB
Keep fighting the good fight, Toihill. We're praying for you.
