We are truly heartsick to hear about your struggle with addiction to pain medication and the impact it has on you and your children. Firstly, we commend you for seeking help and recognizing the need for deliverance. We stand with you in prayer, believing in the power of Jesus' name to break every chain of addiction. Let's begin with prayer.
Lord Jesus, you said whoever comes to you you will by no means cast out. We come boldly to your throne of grace for this dear father. The Bible says if the Son sets you free you are free indeed. Lord Jesus, please set this dear father free from his addiction to pain medication.
James 5:14-15 says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We ask for your healing and deliverance, Lord Jesus, knowing that you are able and willing.
We also ask you Lord Jesus, to strengthen this father's faith, his relationship with you must be renewed. Let him know that though you are able to heal them, that we are saved by grace through faith. We are saved by believing in Jesus Christ and what he did for all mankind. Believing that Jesus, the son of God, died for our sins, was buried and rose again from the dead to sit at the right hand of God the Father in heaven. When we pray we must pray to God the Father in Jesus name to be heard by God. You, Lord Jesus, are the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to God the Father except through you.
We are concerned that you have not specifically mentioned the name of Jesus. Remember Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 it is only in the name of Jesus we can approach God the Father and ask for help.
We will continue to pray for your complete healing and deliverance. Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
This can also be an opportunity to discuss about the salvation of Jesus Christ. If you have not already believed in Jesus Christ, then we encourage you to repent of your sins and ask God to forgive you. Confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again from the dead. That is how you become forgiven and become a Christian believer with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you have already done this, then proceed to pray to God the Father in Jesus name to help you with your addictions.
We encourage you to seek support from your local church community. Share your struggles with trusted brothers and sisters in Christ. Accountability and support can make a significant difference in your journey to freedom. Galatians 6:2 says, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Remember, God's will is for you to be healed, set free, and live an abundant life. Trust in His promises and His love for you. We are praying for you and your children, that God's grace and mercy would be abundantly clear in your lives.
