Jonathan, we understand your distress and will stand with you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we note that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for this is the path to salvation and a personal relationship with God.
We also want to encourage you with God's promise in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." God cares about your situation and wants you to cast your anxieties on Him.
Regarding your circumstances, we are reminded of the trials that Paul endured, as he wrote in 2 Corinthians 11:25-27, "Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. I have been in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from my countrymen, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brothers; in labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, and in cold and nakedness." Yet, Paul remained steadfast in his faith, as he knew that God's grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in weakness as said in 2 Corinthians 12:9.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Jonathan. Lord, You see his struggles and the trials he is facing. We ask that You intervene in his life and provide a way out of his current difficulties.
Father, we pray for wisdom and guidance for Jonathan. Help him to make the right decisions and to trust in You through this challenging time. We ask that You open doors for him to complete his education and to find suitable work to support himself and his family.
Lord, we also pray for Jonathan's family, especially his son. We ask that You provide for their needs and give them peace and reassurance during this time of separation.
Father, we pray for those in authority at the university. We ask that You soften their hearts and give them compassion for Jonathan's situation. We pray that they would reconsider their decisions and allow him to continue his studies without unnecessary hindrances.
Lord, we also pray for Jonathan's spiritual well-being. We ask that You draw him closer to You and give him a deeper understanding of Your love and faithfulness. Help him to put his trust in You and to rest in Your promises.
Finally, Father, we pray that Jonathan would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. We ask that You reveal Yourself to him and give him the gift of salvation.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Jonathan, remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it as said in 1 Corinthians 10:13. Keep trusting in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. Continue to seek His will for your life and follow His guidance. He will direct your paths and help you to overcome the challenges you are facing.
