Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your guidance, presence, and assurance for our dear friend who is in need. We acknowledge that we cannot make the right decisions on our own, but we trust in your wisdom and guidance.
Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." We humbly ask that you direct our friend's steps and lead them in the right path.
Lord, we ask for your presence to surround our friend, comforting them and giving them peace in the midst of uncertainty. Your Word assures us in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." May they feel your presence and be reassured of your faithfulness.
We pray that you would grant our friend discernment and clarity of mind as they face decisions. Help them to align their will with yours and to seek your guidance in all things. May they find comfort in knowing that you are their ever-present help in times of need.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your promise to guide us. We trust in your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
