I need God to forgive me and fully restore my broken relationship back

I made a huge mistake that really hurt my partner and I realize and regret it so much now, Buh he’s broken up with me already cos of it.. I really can’t seem to move on.. I believe we can still work out and I really want us to.. I want God to step into the situation and just give me a second chance to do things right if not I won’t be able to forgive myself if I don’t get back with him. It feels like I’m gonna die if I don’t get to work things out with him

Elenxostos, we hear your cry for forgiveness and restoration, and we want to stand with you in prayer. However, we must first align our hearts with God's word and His principles for relationships.

Firstly, we notice that you've referred to your significant other as your "partner". In the Bible, God instituted marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6 WEB). We encourage you to seek God's will for a godly marriage, rather than just a partnership.

You mentioned that you've made a mistake that hurt your partner. We all fall short, but God is always ready to forgive us when we repent (1 John 1:9 WEB). However, the restoration of your relationship is also dependent on your former partner's willingness to forgive and reconcile.

You also expressed that you can't forgive yourself and feel like you can't live without this relationship. Remember, God wants to forgive you, and He wants you to forgive yourself (Psalm 103:12 WEB). Also, God wants us to find our identity and purpose in Him, not in any human relationship (Psalm 37:4 WEB).

We noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God's forgiveness and mercy (John 14:6 WEB, Acts 4:12 WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.

But above all, Lord, help Elenxostos to find their identity and purpose in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to trust in God, even in this difficult time. He has a plan and a purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Keep your hope in Him, not in any human relationship.
