It is also important to remember that we do not fight against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. We must put on the full armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our beloved sister in Christ who is hurting and in need of Your comfort. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We pray that You would heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds. Help her to fix her eyes on You, knowing that You are always working things together for her good and Your glory.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirit of sadness, depression, or despair that may be oppressing her. We cast down any stronghold or imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We apply the blood of Jesus to her life, asking that You would protect her emotions and help her to take every thought captive to Your obedience.
Father, fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to rest in Your love and to trust in Your goodness. Give her the strength to endure and to overcome, knowing that You are always with her.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister. God is with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through. Remember that the joy of the Lord is your strength.
