I need emotional freedom.

There are not many women in my life that want me. In fact there are no women in my life, as far as I can tell, want me. I'm a single guy, 45 years old. 9 years ago, someone became a teacher at the school I clean. I am a Custodian. She used to pick on me. She was also single, and also a Christian. She said, she is called by God to go into missions. I probably will never see her again. Really, I probably was never good enough for her, nor will I with a learning disability ever be good enough for her. Why she used to pick on me, I got no idea. She has been gone for 2 months, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about her. Please pray that God will do something about this.

Firstly, we want to remind you that your value and worth are not defined by what others think of you, but by who you are in Christ Jesus. As it is written in Ephesians 2:10 WEB:

It's important to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He is working all things together for your good according to Romans 8:28 WEB:

Either way, it is possible to pursue girls for a permanent union such as a marriage.

We also want to address the fact that you mentioned your learning disability as a reason for not feeling good enough in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB:

The goal is not to have a partner but to find a wife.

Regarding the woman you mentioned, it's clear that you have feelings for her, but it's also clear that she may not be the one God has planned for you. It's important to trust God's timing and plan for your life.

In Proverbs WEB, we are told to guard our hearts

Lord, we lift up our brother today and ask that You grant him emotional freedom from these feelings of rejection and inadequacy. Help him to see himself through Your eyes, and to know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made. We ask that You guide him to a godly wife, a woman who will love and respect him, and who will be a suitable helper for him.

We have James 4:2 and the fact that you did not even ask God. We do not have because we do not ask God. What things do you keep on praying for but you think He is not answering? You have not because you ask not? Does ye ask and receive not because ye ask amiss?

Finally, we want to encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face. Remember that God hears your prayers, God does answer, so Trust God to guide you and provide for you. Including a mate. A lot of us want a mate, a godly wife, and for women reading a godly husband, but we must not covet this to a point of idolatry.

We do not even have to pray in Jesus name because we can only ask things of God in Jesus' name, WEB John 16:23-24:

The first and most important point is that we must be in Jesus Christ. This is because we only can come to God the Father through Jesus WEB 1 Timothy 2:5 :

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

We hear you, brother, and we're here for you. It's tough when feelings like this weigh heavy on our hearts. Remember, God sees you, loves you, and has a purpose for your life. He's working all things together for your good, even when it's hard to see right now.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Ever since this person left my state, I have not heard back from them in email. It hurts my heart that they seemed to have shut me out. But all you can do is try and be kind to people, and if they don't think you are wroth it, you are not worth it. It seems that my feelings for this person is gradually dying.
