Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Guruss, who is seeking confidence on the basketball court tonight. Lord, we ask that you would grant Guruss a deep understanding and realization that they are playing for a bigger purpose. Help them to shift their mindset from solely playing for themselves to playing for you, Lord.
We are reminded of the words in 1 Corinthians 10:31, which says, "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." Lord, we pray that Guruss would approach the basketball court with a renewed sense of purpose, knowing that their actions and abilities can bring glory to your name.
We ask for a supernatural infusion of confidence, Lord. Fill Guruss with your Holy Spirit, empowering them to play with boldness and assurance. Remind them that they are not alone, but that you are with them every step of the way.
In Philippians 4:13, it is written, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We declare this truth over Guruss, that through your strength, they can overcome any doubts or fears and excel on the basketball court.
Lord, we pray for a divine mindset shift for Guruss. Help them to see the game as an opportunity to glorify you, to be a light in the midst of competition, and to display good sportsmanship and integrity. May their actions and attitude reflect your love and grace.
