We understand that you are seeking a supportive and caring husband and are praying for your husband to be understanding, caring, supportive, and gentle. However, we must also address the serious issues you've raised. Abusive behavior is not acceptable and is strongly condemned in the Bible. Colossians 3:19 WEB says, "Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them." The fact that it is specifically mentioned happening in front of your children makes it even more serious. Ephesians 6:4 WEB says, "Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.
We pray that your husband will turn from his abusive and rude behavior and become the kind, soft-spoken, and open-minded man you need. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ and believing in Him, that we can receive God's grace and salvation. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we pray for a miracle in their marriage. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will convict her husband of his abusive and rude behavior, and lead him to repentance. We pray that he will become a man characterized by love, patience, kindness, gentleness, and self-control, a man who reflects the character of Christ.
We also pray for our sister, that You will give her the strength, wisdom, and courage to respond to this situation in a way that honors You. Protect her and her children from harm, and guide them all in the path of righteousness.
Finally Lord we pray that your will be made manifest quickly and that you will protect her and the children while changes are made.
We ask this in Jesus' name, trusting in His powerful and transforming love. Amen."
