We understand your longing for a safe and permanent place to call home, and we stand with you in prayer and petition to our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our need for shelter and security. Jesus Himself said, "In my Father's house are many homes. If it weren't so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you" (John 14:2, WEB). While this verse is referring to our eternal home in heaven, it also illustrates God's heart for providing a place for His children.
However, we want to remind you that our true home is in Christ Jesus, and our hearts should be set on Him. As the apostle Paul wrote, "For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ" (Philippians 3:20, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and grace. You know the desire of our hearts for a safe and permanent place to call home. We trust in Your promise that if we seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Please guide our sister to the right place, and provide her with the resources she needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He is faithful to provide for His children. Remember, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6, WEB). Keep seeking God's will in all things, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace. If you haven't already, make sure to place your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. As the apostle Peter declared, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
