We understand your struggle and we are here to lift you up in prayer and guide you according to God's Word. firstly, we commend you for seeking deliverance and a repentant heart, as this is the first step towards freedom from sin.
Let us remind you of God's promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We also encourage you to remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:27-30 WEB, where He emphasizes the importance of purity and the danger of sexual sin. Jesus said, "You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’ but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness and deliverance for Likmeksos. Lord, Likmeksos has acknowledged their struggle with sexual sin and has asked for a repentant heart. We pray that You grant them the gift of repentance, and help them to turn away from their sins.
We pray, Lord, that You fill Likmeksos with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be strengthened in their inner being, according to the riches of Your glory, to be rooted and grounded in love, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB).
We pray that You help Likmeksos to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB), and to put on the full armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11 WEB).
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We encourage you, Likmeksos, to continue to pray and seek God's face, to read His Word, and to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remain strong in the Lord and keep fighting the good fight of faith.
